Action Now To Get 70% Subsidy For Rental Home Insulation

Greenstar Energy Solutions together with Warmer Homes Community Trust and the Energy Efficiency and Conservation Authority (ECCA) have joined forces to help property investors to warm up their rental properties by providing up to 70% subsidy for qualifying properties (tenants). 

Under the newly proposed Warm Up New Zealand: Healthy Homes Scheme, EECA will provide grants of up to 60% of the cost of insulation.  As a business, Greenstar Energy Solutions in conjunction with Warmer Homes Community Trust will also be contributing 10% towards the cost with preferential buying power.  The remaining 30% will be funded by the landlord or homeowner.  

Greenstar has issued this press release urging all APIA members with properties and tenants who qualify for the Warm Up New Zealand: Healthy Homes scheme to forward a letter of intent indicating the number of homes they own eligible for EECA criteria in Auckland, the greater Auckland Region and other Auckland Areas.  

The letter of intent must be submitted by email to ella@greenstarinsulation.co.nz no later than 4pm on Monday 17th June 2013.
