HOW TO MAKE A CONSTRUCTIVE CONTRIBUTION TO THE INTEREST LIMITATION CONSULTATION PROCESS

Though we remain opposed to the impending interest limitation rules on investors, political reality necessitates constructive contribution from the property investment sector to ensure an (as much as possible) acceptable trade-off between investors' private and public interests. To put it simply, investors have until 12 July to make the best out of a not-so-awesome situation.

So how to do that? Reading through the discussion document while fully appreciating the consequences of what is being proposed is hard enough as it is let alone writing an effective submission that will be compelling enough to affect positive change.

Worry not. This workshop is our commitment to support members through the process. Amanda Watt will give a high-level overview of the discussion document and pick out the most consequential aspects for most investors. As a parliamentary insider, Brooke will show you how to craft an effective submission to service your point of view.

This is both an in-person (limited capacity) and a live-streamed session. Register on this page to attend in-person and here for live-stream access
