But that dream can quickly turn into a nightmare if you do not have the financial resources to keep the portfolio running. There are plenty of hidden costs to anticipate and plan for. If you want to become a successful investor, it is wise to first understand the all the expenses you can't avoid. 

Peter Lewis has been an investor and hands-on landlord since the 90s giving him the experience necessary to help you scope out the financial outlay of being a landlord.
